Here's how to unlock both Lake Doors in the Resident Evil 4 Remake. In order to unlock the medallion, players will need to obtain two statue heads, but getting to them means solving the puzzle behind the Lake Doors. There, players will finally spot the key on a pedestal in the Mural Cave, but it's locked behind a strange mechanism filled with grasping hands and two massive palms jutting from either side. To find the ornate medallion-shaped key, players will need to head through the Quarry, across the lake, and defeat an imposing monster named Del Lago. One of the biggest hurdles that players encounter in the earlier parts of the game is gaining access to the Church, thanks to the massive metal shutter blocking the entrance. Some of these doors can be opened with a well-placed gunshot or the slash of Leon's combat knife, but there are a handful that are secured via puzzle locks. As Leon makes his way deeper into each area, he will be met with locked chests, sealed gates, and barred doors. In the desk drawer, you’ll find the Insignia Key… but once again, Mendez will also find Leon.Players will have to solve a variety of puzzles to progress through the Resident Evil 4 Remake. You’ll want to rotate the marble so that the air bubbles align with the symbol on the door, which is easy enough! Head on inside. Now, use the marble to unlock the door upstairs. There, fortunately, is no swineherd icon on this lock, so your solution is to have the icons displaying the crop, pig, and child from left to right (pictured below). You’ll notice that you can trade Spinels with him for special items, have him tune up your guns, and of course, buy and sell as normal! The Merchant can also repair our knife for us in exchange for some Pesos! Have a good chinwag with the Merchant, and check out what he has available. Head towards the next door to hear a familiar voice… Grab your gear, open the locked gate, and head back into the room with the wheel. Turn the wheel fully, then quickly run back around the way you just came and into the door. Turn this wheel, and run back around as quickly as you can. You'll also want to keep an eye on the rats here, and shoot them, as this will fulfill the Pest Control request in this area. You’ll soon find yourself in a room with a wheel turn it, and the door to the room with your gear is opened, but will slowly close. The route forward is linear, although there are enemies. Collect the kitchen knife off the corpse along the route here, so we aren’t completely unarmed.
